I am currently a third-year undergraduate student pursuing a BSc (Honours) in Software Engineering at NSBM Green University, with a strong passion for software and web development. My educational journey began at St. John's College, Nugegoda, where I excelled in the G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination in 2016, achieving 6 A's and 3 B's. I continued my studies at the same school, completing the G.C.E. Advanced Level in 2020 in the Mathematics stream, where I earned 3 C passes.
In 2021, I worked as a Trainee at the Bank of Ceylon, where I gained valuable hands-on experience in a professional environment, enhancing my problem-solving and communication skills. This experience has contributed significantly to my personal and professional growth.
Alongside my studies, I conduct mathematics tuition classes for students from Grade 6 to Grade 11, where I integrate my passion for advanced mathematics and teaching. Additionally, I am pursuing a Diploma in Psychology and Counselling to broaden my knowledge in understanding human behavior, which also enhances my interpersonal skills.
I am eager to continue developing my skills, contribute to the tech industry, and make meaningful impacts through innovative software and web development.

Book Spark is a Python-based library management application developed as part of the InnovateIT Expo project challenge. Students can sign up and borrow books. Librarians can manage inventory. The app helps maintain book availability status automatically.

2006 – The Beginning of My Academic Journey
In 2006, I stepped into the world of learning as a Grade 1 student at St. John’s College, Nugegoda. It was the start of my educational journey—where I first learned discipline, curiosity, and the joy of discovering new things
2016 – Ordinary Level Success
After years of dedication and growth at St. John’s College, Nugegoda, I sat for the GCE Ordinary Level Examination in 2016. I was proud to achieve 6 A grades and 3 B grades—a moment that marked both academic success and the result of hard work and perseverance
2017–2018 – Served as Junior Prefect
During 2017 and 2018, I had the responsibility of being a Junior Prefect at St. John’s College, Nugegoda. It was a role that helped me develop leadership and teamwork skills while supporting my school community
2018–2019 – Served as Senior Prefect
n 2018 and 2019, I took on the role of Senior Prefect at St. John’s College, Nugegoda. This position gave me more responsibility and experience in leadership and helping maintain a positive environment at school
2020 – Completed Advanced Level
In 2020, I completed my GCE Advanced Level examination in the Mathematics stream at St. John’s College, Nugegoda. I studied Combined Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, and received 3 C passes.
August 2020 – Left School and Celebrated Achievements
I left St. John’s College, Nugegoda, in August 2020 after completing my A/L exams. During my school years, I earned second place in my Grade 13 Science class at the annual prize giving. I participated in the Western Province Inter-School Individual Chess Championship in 2018, took part in sports meets and concerts, and was an active member of the scout team, chess team, badminton team, and anti-narcotic team. I also served as a class monitor in Grade 10 and held other responsibilities
2021 – Training at Bank of Ceylon
I joined Bank of Ceylon for professional training where I gained hands-on experience working at the front-end counter. My daily tasks included updating customers’ passbooks, issuing new passbooks, and processing cheque requests. I also helped customers resolve online banking issues and assisted them with setting up new online banking accounts. This experience improved my customer service skills and gave me valuable insight into banking operations
May 2022 – Started Teaching Mathematics
In May 2022, I began conducting mathematics classes for students from Grade 6 to Grade 11. This experience allowed me to develop teaching skills and support younger students in their learning journey
October 2022 – Started Degree in Software Engineering
After qualifying for degree programs in Applied Science and Physical Science at Wayamba and Rajarata government universities, I chose to enroll at NSBM Green University in October 2022. I am pursuing a BSc (Honours) degree in Software Engineering to build a strong foundation in technology and software development
2024 – Created “Books Spark” Library App
In 2024, I developed a library app called “Books Spark” for the InnovateIT Expo Python competition at my university. This project helped me apply my Python skills to build a useful tool and gain experience in app development
2024 – Teaching Grade 11 Students
In 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to teach Grade 11 students at Gallehera Collage Kurunegala. I taught Mathematics and IT, which helped me improve my communication skills and deepen my understanding of these subjects by sharing knowledge with others
2024 – Participated in Technical and Soft Skills Development Program
IIn 2024, I took part in the Technical and Soft Skills Development (TSD) program organized by the Faculty of Computing at NSBM University. This program helped me enhance both my technical abilities and interpersonal skills, preparing me better for my future career
2024–2025 – Technical Coordinator of Student Circle of Software Engineering NSBM
Between 2024 and 2025, I served as the Technical Coordinator for the Student Circle of Software Engineering at NSBM. In this role, I organized technical events, supported fellow students with projects, and helped foster a collaborative learning environment
2025 - Studying Diploma in Psychology and Counselling
Alongside my main studies, I am pursuing a Diploma in Psychology and Counselling at Eurasian Campus. This program broadens my understanding of human behavior and mental health, complementing my software engineering background
2025–2026 – Chief Editor of Association of Software Engineering, NSBM
I am currently serving as the Chief Editor of the Association of Software Engineering NSBM. In this role, I oversee content creation and communication to keep members informed and engaged
